Help with Thyroid healing?

Can anyone tell me what kind of energy healing I can use for my thyroid?

It has turned into an auto-immune disease. I'm told "western medicine" they only thing they can do is operate.

Is it true the Thyroid is a Chakra? Or is it just in that area? I have a huge goiter, or Lump on my throat and am turning into a hermit, trying to hide it all the time.
