Thank you,
Messengeroflight, for your kind compliments, and thanks to
Maqrol for standing up for me and putting the record straight. Perhaps
sore123, seeing as how he speaks to the Romanian fellow on the phone, could put in a word for me and ask that the advertizing copy make mention of the fact that I created the original artwork. That's all I ever asked for.
I created that graphic for my own use because I couldn't find a good quality version anywhere on the Web, just copies of the one from Uncle Chuckie's book. I decided to give it away as a Solstice gift to anyone who had a need for it.
I've given some thought to making a "powered" version, or at least making a version that is etched on a copper-clad circuit board. Someday I hope!
Folks might also want to try doing what John Campbell did, and render it in India Ink. I'd suggest making a print-out using the "draft" mode of your printer (so it uses the minimum of ink and creates a light copy) and then using genuine India ink (the kind made with fine carbon particles i.e. "lamp black"), trace over the image by hand using a fountain or nib pen. According to Dr. Hieronymus, India ink conducts eloptic (aetheric) energy, which is why Campbell's version worked so well.
