The difference in my mind is that "conversational" hypnosis would acknowledge that all communication is hypnotic and be seamlessly integrated into regular conversational communication whereas "covert" hypnosis seems like something I am DOING TO YOU... rather than "doing with you", if you get my drift.

Maybe the techniques are exactly the same, just different branding. I'm a noob with this, so thanks for the leads.
