I will only dismantle the servitor once I reach certain "mile stones" and know in my heart of hearts that I am ready. A bit extreme, but I've seen what this can do to a person who is not ready. We had a brother practicing with us in the kwan who one day began supplementing his nei kung with kundalini-yoga.
Within a week, apparently he went through a spontaneous "awakening" that resulted in him going into a coma for two days. I later learned the doctors found out massive organ over-eating that nearly resulted in organ failure and thought at first he had tried Speed or a similar drug, which was not the case (he comes from a "Straight Edge" background: no coffee, weed, full-blown vegan etc.)
Peace.
