After getting a handle on what it is you are doing, and becoming better at it though you might be able to subtly effect the world and pave a path that eventually brings you to being able to purchase a Ferrari.

The point is it isn't snapping your fingers, and suddenly things happen. It is just like anything else. Techniques must be learned, and tweaked, and perfected. It takes time to figure out exactly what it is that you're doing sometimes, and time to understand it.
