Well the benefits is that it's simply easier made part of your own energy without problems.

The "raw" energy is cleaned, as this item takes the energy around you and pumps it into you. So to not get negative energy pumped into you, it is cleaned before.

Sorry, how is it a problem that any 'energy programming' is removed?
It is simply pure chi that you get from the item, even if you stand in the middle of a nuclear land... nothing more to it as far as I understand
