This is not so. Action or more precisely counter-action is implied by the concept of Karma. In your example if the person practices "Iron Head" then there are no consequences to banging one's head. In another example, firing a rifle [action] produces recoil [karma], yet "recoil-less rifles" exist which mitigate or eliminate recoil altogether. Thus Rayzorblades is correct. Counter-action is not a given. If it can be eliminated, however it is done, then it is not some sort of universal law, but merely a popular meme (or in this case a lie) that has taken on the patina of truth, propagated to make the masses feel better about being manipulated.

If you know a little about physics then you will agree that energy cannot be destroyed. The energetic "recoil" from an action cannot be annihilated! However it can be redirected and transformed. In your gun example the energy from the recoil is not annihilated but is transformed into another form (heat). In the same way the recoil from your past evil actions might be converted into another form but it certainly is not destroyed. Yogananda´s guru Sri Yukteswar once advised him to wear an astrological ring to intercept some bad karma that was about to come. The ring acted like a lightning rod for the negative energy and thus protected his body. However this does not mean that the recoil from past actions is not real. It simply means that there are ways to deviate it from your body and mind or to transform it.
I think the principle "what you give is what you get" remains true.
When it rains everyone gets wet but those who are clever wear a raincoat and only get a wet nose. What rises up will come down again. This is true for the water cycle as well as for your actions. <span class="postbody">
This is a round-about way of saying that "karma" can be redirected, in essence mitigated, and thus of no consequence. This website's product section is filled with products that purport to do just that. I have used many, and they work. It is impossible to believe in karma when you have experiential knowledge that karma can be totally bypassed and mitigated. <span class="postbody">

Maybe you only delayed it. I once visited a yogi in the himalayas and he told me that I have karma which I cannot escape and I had some terrible experiences during the last years. I do not think that those chi generators have the capacity to permanently redirect karma. They may create a shield around you that protects you for awhile but the negative energy can start to accumulate around that shield waiting for an opportunity to get you.

The yogis discern between different types of karmas. Chi gens might be useful to deal with some of them but there are other types that need to be experienced.

I think the only way to be free from karmic consequences is to forgive and be forgiven. Then the energy becomes neutral. <span class="postbody">
Maybe that's how things roll in your universe. In mine I don't "delay" karma. It is shunted aside because I see it for the lie that it is. In my universe Knowledge trumps belief. It's OK. Believe what you need to believe to make your world work. Just doesn't work for me. <span class="postbody">

Then I suggest you try this experiment: Live on an unhealthy diet for for a few months and program your chi gens to redirect the consequences. You will see that you cannot shunt aside everything.
