I often wonder if scammers realize that they are sowing mistrust, and killing the very market they need to perpetuate further fraud. Although I have serious philosophical objections to the buying and selling of magick items, I whole-heartedly support the ability and facilities to do so. Repeatedly scamming customers makes buyers leery of buying from
anyone regardless of supposed reputation.
This will most likely create a "gated community" mentality where buying and selling takes place only in communities where buyers and sellers are known to each other, and new sellers are invited in only after extensive vetting. Buyers are also vetted to make sure they are not buying with the sole intent of ruining a seller's reputation.
The tale of Silverking09/Jewel Of Romania foretells the quickening of this state of affairs even as the good works of Xtrememind and psychichelps.com restore faith in the honesty of merchants of unusual items.
