Why are you shocked? What I got from it was was an attempt to document what was happening at the time that it happened (or the best of her recollection). I appreciate her doing so in terms I understood, although the human brain show & tell I frankly could have done without.

Yes, I remember. The problem was one of sufficient conscious control while sleeping.

I had bought a NeuroStim unit (I'll have to search my posts to find out the name of the thing and edit it in later), but the bottom line was that it did not give me the experience I was looking for. Many people bought it to experience the feeling of GOD right next to them, but that lost its appeal upon finding out that it was merely awareness of the other side of the brain through artificial disconnect of the brain bridge.

Ultimately I thought she was going to tie her experience to what her brother experienced on a daily basis, in other words what his experience of living was like.

The piece itself is interesting, and rather disturbing bringing to the fore the relative fragility of this life-support system self-identified as "my body"
